What I consider most important, and would like to help you with, is the realm of self-love and body confidence. The way I see it, everything that is off-kilter in our lives stems from a lack of self-love. Feeling angry all the time with everyone and everything? Eating indiscriminately to the point of feeling sick? Constantly acting in ways that run counter to what you know your best interest to be? Somewhere, there’s a deep wound that has caused you to be at odds with yourself. If you had asked me – at my lowest – if I loved myself, I would have given you a list of things that were wrong with me. When I first learned EFT and had to say, “I love and accept myself,” it was like pulling teeth. I compromised with “I’m okay.” But is that what we want? To just be okay? Especially when true self-love and acceptance is around the corner?
And it’s likely you’ve heard the term ‘body confidence’, but might not be clear on whether you have it or not. Here’s an easy way to test it – if you can look at yourself in the mirror every morning, and smile at what you see more often than not, you’re doing great! If you can’t stand mirrors, or to be in photographs, whether or not you feel you’re in a right-sized body, something’s not right. And we’re doing ourselves such a disservice by not living in our bodies with serenity, because for this life, the bodies we’re in are our homes. When we eat foods that aren’t healthy, or procrastinate about exercising, we dig ourselves deeper into a hole that we desperately want to escape from.

I believe that the kind of change you want to see in your life takes time and commitment. And that means working together for longer than one session. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen incredible shifts happen in one hour, but each successive session builds on the last to generate momentum. And then one day, you’ll find you’re exactly where you wanted to be, and no one will be happier than I to bump you off my appointment schedule! (But of course, we’ll stay in touch!)
Here’s how I work. It can be hard to make a commitment to someone you’ve never met. So I invite you to go on a blind date with me. 🙂 Get in touch, let me know you want to work together, and commit to doing ONE session with me. I’ll send you an intake questionnaire for you to fill out, so both you and I have clarity about the reason you want to see me. Once I have your filled-in questionnaire, we schedule an appointment and hang out for an hour, during which I will do my best to help in whatever way I can. If, at the end of the hour, you decide that I am not the best person to help you, I will try and recommend someone else who would be a better fit, or even other resources that you could try. And I promise, you’ll only be better for having spent that hour with me, even if it’s not right for you long-term.
However, if you feel that I am ‘the One’, we would transition you to one of the packages that I offer, depending on the kind of help you want. These are either 3-session or 6-session packages, where we meet, in person or on Skype, every alternate week, and work together using a mixture of the modalities I’m certified in. During the rest weeks in between, we would have a phone call to see how you’re doing, and to keep you on track. There are also other fun little things to make the process not feel heavy, because it doesn’t have to be. Looking into yourself and digging into the muck is hard work. I want you to feel good for doing it, because not everyone does the work. Another important point to keep in mind is that consistency is key, and I hold all my clients to a really high standard with regards to making and keeping appointments. Forewarned is forearmed!

What’s with the difference in pricing between the two categories, you ask? Well, since body confidence is something I’ve worked extensively on, I’ve found there are certain processes that work together to really make significant improvements – cravings busters, mirror work, goal setting and eliminating negative anchors. So, all body confidence packages are streamlined, with a pre-determined set of processes we will use, tailoring them to suit your specific needs, of course.
If you have something that you want to work on extensively – maybe you want more body confidence, but have specific, deep issues you want to tackle, and you don’t want some of the processes I use in my regular body confidence package. Or maybe you would like to be in touch more than once a week. With my VIP clients, we build a program together that best meets their needs.
